Colmar Tropicale | Berjaya Hills @ Bukit Tinggi, Pahang

[Travel blog ✈ ]

Good day readers.

If you did keep up with my blog, you should have realized that I kept exaggerating how excited I was before and after my vacation though it was only as short as two days. Yea, I'm that easily contented. Partly also because I was the one who organized the trip from tip to toe, thus, I feel that it was a kind of achievement.

Days before, I did checked the climate of Bukit Tinggi, Pahang out and it was forecasted to rain on the very day. Worst of all, the temperature was predicted to be as high as 32°C. A lil' disappointed of course. On that day itself, the whole KL city was pouring as predicted, however, out of my expectation, the weather turned balmy and we were all charmed by the chilling weather. Can you imagine how great it was to escape from the bustling street of noise for awhile to take a deep breath of fresh good air on a highland?.. Bukit Tinggi isn't really far away from KL city, we took the route along Karak Highway to Berjaya Hills in about 45mins.

Here we are at the French-Themed Resort, Colmar Tropicale. This spectacular resort is a perfect place for a laidback getaway with picturesque and romantic environment. If you're that kind of person who enjoys adventurous or expecting for an adrenaline-pumping ride, this place will be a deadpan, go for Genting Highland then.

First thing first, we strutted down Colmar Square and were amazed by the awesome French-inspired facades. They are simply just so beautiful. I was detailed that this resort is developed on the principle of Colmar town in Alsace, France with the elements of the ancient villages like Riquewihr, Turckheim and Kaysersberg that brought out the signature Tour de L'Horloge Clock Tower.

Colmar Square is nothing different from a courtyard except that it was surrounded by blocks of French Village suites and each block has it's own name, ours are Gazania.
Entrance fee of RM12 is compulsory and payment is made at the guard house before entering the resort. This is not the all-access ticket, only for Colmar Tropical, Japanese Village and Botanical Garden. If you're the hotel guest, entrance fee can be refunded upon check in and you'll get a different type of ticket like the one on the left in the picture.

Instead of rooms, we opted for something better and more spacious so we booked One-Bedroom Suite. Now I can tell that I stayed in a suite. It was a very comfortable stay and I loved how it was French-ly decorated. I flattered myself that I'm in Europe *hopping like a little girl*. Let's take a tour of our huge suite.

We have not only one television but two, one in living hall and another in the room. Best of all, they have certain channels of Astro.

With the besties. Short of another member, for certain reason she'll join us in the next trip.

The windows overlooking the views......

Yeap, our suite was facing the rolling green turf field. How can I not say this is heavenly beautiful?!!!

After settling down with our luggage, it's time we take a stroll on the street and get our activities started. Whole lotsa pictures to take.

Not forgetting they have stage performances by Caucasians during noon and night time daily. The schedule of performance is stated over the wall of the block right beside the stage so you don't miss them out.

Things like this always happen when we are together. No, playing water by the fountain is not one of the proper activities you can do.

This entry is not done yet, I'm gonna separate them into few posts so my site don't get bombarded with a darn long single entry and partly is to keep you peeps awaiting anticipatively for the next like what a drama does. So, do come back for more.

Till here, take care.

Love Anne XOXO

Separuh tower di Bukittinggi berdiri tanpa izin -

Posted: 07 Oct 2012 05:05 AM PDT
